Remember, if you don't apply you will not be able to receive any college financial aid. You must be persistent and apply to as many organizations as possible, both government and non government.

As well as athletic scholarships there are literally hundreds of alternate sources of college financial aid available. These include federal and state government sources, independent and charitable organizations, aid from the college itself, endowment scholarships, student loans and many others.

The College Board is a national nonprofit membership association whose mission is to prepare, inspire, and connect students to college success and opportunity. The FAFSA is the first step in the financial aid process. It is used to apply for federal financial aid, such as student loans, grants and work-study. Even if you don?t think you are eligible for financial aid, you should still fill it out because schools also use it to award non-federal aid.
