University of Alaska Anchorage

The college is made up of 8 teaching units at the college's main campus situated in Anchorage. The Colleges of Business and Public Policy, Arts and Sciences, Education, Health and Social Welfare, Schools of Engineering, School of Social Work, Community and Technical and School of Nursing. the University also has 5 community campuses:

Matanuska-Susitna College, Kodiak College, Kenai Peninsula College,  and Prince William Sound Community College. The College is the biggest University in the state of Alaska. The University of Alaska at Anchorage also provides higher education opportunities for members of the armed forces situated in Alaska.

The college is a member institution of the National Collegiate Athletic Association and offers the following Division 11 sports.
