How to Get Recruited and play college tennis.

We can help you get recruited for NCAA tennis. Our website is full of information and resources to help guide you through the tennis recruiting process.

A good place to start is the TENNIS SCHOLARSHIP STATISTICS AND INFORMATION page.

You might be one of the best tennis players at your school but if your not in the top 3% then don't expect the NCAA tennis coaches to come to you; you have to make it happen and apply to as many colleges as possible. This is   where we come into the picture; we will prepare a professional resume on your behalf and send it to every NCAA tennis coach in division 1 and 2.  We can also send your athletic profile to NAIA colleges as well.

Remember, you wont make your dream come true if you don't do everything you possibly can to get recruited. You must have a detailed, professional athletic resume prepared and you must get it into the hands of the NCAA tennis coaches.

We do this for you, it's fast, efficient and above all it allows you to compare tennis scholarship offers from many different colleges.

College Tennis History.

The United States Lawn Tennis Association, ( USLTA ), held the first national tournament in 1881.The first intercollegiate championship took place two years later.

The USLTA and the NCAA were co-sponsors of  the championship from 1938 to 1940. The NCAA took over the control of the intercollegiate championship in 1941. Only singles and doubles championships were held with the team championship added in 1946.

Women's tennis was one of the twelve sports introduced by the NCAA in the 1981-1982 college year.

Tennis is one of the 10 most popular sports in high school in the U.S. and is rapidly gaining in popularity internationally. Many international players are now using scouting and recruiting services. As a result college coaches at NCAA and NAIA level are finding it easier to recruit foreign athletes. This is making it more difficult for good domestic players to get a scholarship at this level.
