The athletic programs of Atlantic Cape Community College comprise intercollegiate sports teams in basketball, and baseball for the men’s division and basketball, softball, volleyball for the women’s division. The college has a co-ed golf team and a co-ed archery team with a national ranking. Atlantic Cape’s major arenas of competition are the Garden State Athletic Conference (GSAC) and the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA). GSAC awards a state champion and selects all-conference teams in each sport while the NJCAA sponsors national championship tournaments and chooses All-America teams.

Atlantic Cape’s strong tradition in Athletics has been awarded with team and individual honors in both academics and athletics, with a recent example of a lady athlete who was selected to the 1st Team All Garden State Athletic Conference and 3rd Team All Region for volleyball.
