Bethel College, founded in 1947, is a Christian liberal arts educational institution located in Mishawaka, Indiana. Bethel College is affiliated with the Missionary Church and has a small student body of only 1,900. The college emphasizes leadership and a strong commitment to the church. Bethel College offers degrees at the undergraduate and graduate level, as well as adult degree programs that are similar to those offered in mainstream higher education. Courses include science, mathematics, fine arts, history, psychology and more. There is also a bible component as well as an introductory theology course. The Athletics Department at Bethel College Indiana provides student-athletes with plenty of opportunities to participate in intercollegiate varsity sports as well as recreational intramural sports. In addition to this, the department also provides support services such as sports medicine and athletic training.
Athletic facilities at Bethel College include the Jenkins Baseball Stadium, the Morey Field, the Goodman Gymnasium, the Wiekamp Athletic center, the Indoor Hitting Facility, and a softball field.

The Athletics Department at Bethel College Indiana offers a number of varsity sports teams including men’s baseball, cross country, golf, basketball, soccer, track and field, and tennis, as well as basketball, golf, soccer, cross country, softball, track and field, tennis, and volleyball. Other athletic programs include cheerleading as well as intramural sports in basketball, futsal, softball, and volleyball. Intramural sports are organized as ‘show up and play’ sporting opportunities.
Official Sports Team: Pilots
The Bethel College Pilots are members of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics Division II and compete in the Crossroads League. The Pilots are also members of the National Christian College Athletic Association. The Pilots continuously succeed in athletics, and have won a number of championships as well as consistently shine academically. These include 3 NAIA National Championships in basketball, 29 NCAA National Champions, 3 NAIA individual National Champions, and 191 NCCAA Individual National Champions. Other awards include numerous All-Americans, Academic All-Americans, and NAIA Scholar-Athletes. All student-athletes are also encouraged to engage in missionary work. To date, there have been over 45 short-term mission trips completed by the Athletics Department.

Bethel College Indiana offers academic scholarships for incoming freshmen. All of these awards range in value from $3,000 to $11,000 and are renewable as long as the minimum GPA requirements are maintained. There are also transfer awards ranging in value from $3,000 to $6,000, which are also renewable. There is also a National Merit Recognition Award worth up to $6,000, as well as a Lilly Endowment Recognition award that may cover fully for room and board up to for yours. For minority students, scholarships ranging in value from $6,000 to $8,000 are available. In addition, there are a number of talent awards in Theatre Arts, Music and Art that may require a portfolio or audition. Community awards and Church Scholarships are also available. Lastly, athletic scholarships are awarded to students who participate in varsity sports and demonstrate athletic excellence.
