To be eligible for a scholarship to compete at an NAIA regulated school you must register with the NAIA Eligibility Center. When determining academic eligibility for NAIA schools you should have at least two of the following:
–you must graduate in the top 50% of your high school class; score a combined 860 on the SAT or an 18 on the Enhanced ACT; and/or a 2.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale.
To be athletically eligible an athlete must maintain their amateurism. Athletes cannot be paid as a professional in a sport and retain their amateur status. If you’re a paid athlete, you ‘ll only lose your amateur status in the sport for which you were paid–you’ll still be eligible to compete in other sports.
