Where can I get financial aid?
Being able to afford college is a tough task nowadays. Finding money for college is becoming more and more important to many families. There is a ton of financial aid money available to incoming college students, so it’s all about knowing where to look!
There are a few different types of financial aid for college students. These include scholarships (academic, athletic, and merit), and loans and grants. Scholarships are granted to students as an award for high performance in academics, athletics, or in other merits. Scholarships are won and do not need to be paid back. Scholarships usually come from the institution itself, but there are outside organizations who also offer scholarships. Federal loans are amounts of money given to a student with the intention to pay back the loan after they have graduated from college. There are many different types of loans, so make sure you do research to find which one is best for you.
